Toyota are recalling all Auris, RAV4, Yaris & Corolla models worldwide to check a faulty electric window switch. Toyota has issued a recall for some 7.4 million cars worldwide to check a potential fault on the Power Window Master Switch on all models of the Toyota Auris, RAV4, Corolla and Yaris built between September 2006 and December 2008. In the UK there are around 138,000 cars affected, but the Corolla is not affected in the UK – just the Auris, Yaris and RAV4.

Now the company is embracing the growing culinary trend with a new version of the iconic vehicle that will dole out hot dogs from its mobile kitchen. The launch of the food truck marks the 75th anniversary of the Wienermobile. Three years after it burst onto the supercar scene, Audi has unveiled a hard-core version of its R8 called the GT. Based on the existing mid-engine R8 V10 and incorporating aerodynamic, weight-saving and mechanical developments used by the company's R8 LMS GT3 race car, Ingolstadt will build just 333 copies of the new 560-hp four-wheel-drive performance flagship. Pricing has not yet been revealed, but given the extent of the changes to the new two-seater, buyers should expect a hefty premium over the R8 V10's $147,000 price tag when the GT goes on sale in North America.
